Blu-Ray DVD Reviews

I read that Toshiba ended dvd productions. Im guessing they will start to make blu ray players now. Does this mean that blu ray has won or is 100% going to win? If blu ray does win, will dvd be erased completely, meaning no more dvd/hd-dvd movies, no more dvd players, and such? What would happen if blu ray does win, particularly asking about the 360, will it be ended or forced to use blu ray next year. Thanks
